BioCare Calcidophilus provides a source of bio-available, milk-free calcium along with the beneficial ‘friendly’ bacteria Lactobacillus acidophilus . Calcium is needed for the formation and maintenance of bones and teeth and the proper function of nerves and muscles.

 

BioCare Calcidophilus

  • Calcidophilus provides a source of bio-available, milk-free calcium.

  • During the growing process of the lactobacillus acidophilus, calcium carbonate is fed to the friendly bacteria which incorporates the calcium into its own structure.

  • When the L.acidophilus has digested sufficient calcium it is freeze-dried and encapsulated, then vacuum packed into glass bottles.

  • Generally, ordinary calcium carbonate is poorly absorbed.

  • When ingested the calcium-rich L.acidophilus attach to the intestinal wall and release calcium.

Recommended Intake
Three capsules taken daily with food or as professionally directed. For children aged 1-3 years: 1/2 capsule daily with food, 4-10 years: 1 capsule daily with food, 11 years plus: 2 capsules daily with food, ages 14+: 3 capsules daily with food, or as professionally directed.
