Recommended Daily Intake:

One to three HCl & Pepsin capsule taken three times a day with food and a glass of water, or as professionally directed.

N.B. HCl & Pepsin capsules should not be opened or chewed.

Contra-indications:

BioCare HCl & Pepsin is not suitable for individuals with colitis, gastritis or ulcerative conditions of the stomach or colon.

200mg Betaine Hydrochloride

100mg Pepsin

(providing 3mg actual pepsin or 300NF Units of activity with potato maltodextrin)

This product may have the following benefits

The healthy stomach normally secretes adequate amounts of hydrochloric acid (HCl) and pepsin for the complete digestion of foods, in particular proteins.

Many factors can disrupt acid production, such as:

• infections (even something as simple as a cold)
