BioCare's Manufacturing Standards
BioCare's
manufacturing plant is completely self-contained, giving the
company control over the range and quality of its unique
healthcare products.
Product
development is based mainly on the company's own extensive
research in the field of nutrition and on the latest
scientific data, and is underlined by their formal
university and teaching hospital links.
In
manufacture, every effort is made to use the purest raw
materials and to utilise organic ingredients wherever
possible. Many raw materials are manufactured in-house.
Encapsulation is preferred because it allows minimal use of
excipients, and the Natrafill process - filling the capsules
with nothing but the active ingredients - is also employed.
Tablets are used only for those products which are not
suitable in a capsule.
Full
capsule-filling facilities are complimented by a large
freeze-drying plant. This means that BioCare has the added
advantage of processing natural products without the need
for chemicals or other additives.
Stringent
quality control is exercised by BioCare microbiologists, who
use the company's analytical laboratory to monitor every
product batch. |
